2. 🎭 To re-enact the check-in scene, have: ❏ a clipboard ❏ pencil ❏ the VIP list (linked with next activity).
If time allows, encourage learners to come up with ❏ a passenger list of their own, being sure to alphabetize it.

3. 🎨 Have students come up with a custom signature
&/or
Put together a welcome basket with fruits, nuts, health bars, water, cheese, treats, etc.
4. Research & report on guests from the VIP list to learn about them (using whatever resources you prefer).

5. 🚢 🚶♀️Ship stroll: Have "passengers" roam the fictional ship (home, classroom, wherever) using their imagination to describe what they see: nature, passengers, shops.
If there is time & interest, encourage the learners to design a shop of their own. (example: chocolatier, toy store, plush zoo)
6. 💬 Discussion—Use our Teachizz edition for ideas or come up with your own topics from the chapter.
🌱 Have you ever been talked into doing something that you were not comfortable with?
Frankie and Finn had a golden opportunity to go on a cruise they never would have been able to afford on their own. But to do so required them to pretend to be something they weren't. In this case, they tried to pass themselves off as being older. Many times the situation isn't so simple. Perhaps we try to fit in with our peers by engaging in behavior that really isn't natural to us. Or we work to impress others by presenting ourselves in a way that is not genuine. Why is it important to be yourself? What are the benefits? And what are the consequences of not being ourselves?
