3. 🤔 DEDUCTION
- Why do you think Finn wants Finn's coat?
- Why do you think Finn did a double take about Betsy's food order? (It’s because he was surprised a toddler would want a shrimp cocktail)
- Why would the presence of a Korean flag be potentially problematic?
4. 🔍 RESEARCH
- Is it true bobcats and foxes sound like crying babies?
- What is the difference between the North and South Korean flags? (Have students draw/color them)
5. 🎭 RE-ENACTMENTMENT
- Finn brings the kids to the stateroom
- Finn orders Room Service (pretend to use a rotary phone)
- 🎵 Sing “Blue Moon” together and come up with some simple choreography
- The Cruise Constable’s arrival scene (make sure to include having the kids hide!)
- Room service arrives

- What sort of rules do you have at home? … And do you ever break them when no one is around to catch you?
- Does anyone in your family ever embarrass you? If so, how do you react?
- What would you do to quiet a crying baby or toddler?
- Now that you've read the chapter, where do you think it gets its title?
🎵 Everyone can join in on the "Blue Moon" singalong. Let older participants come up with choreography
