Chapters Fourteen & Fifteen
Culture Shock. We’ve all experienced it at one time or another. Pete goes through it in a big way when arriving at the academy where he is confronted with beings out of a fairy tale in a place more fantastical than anything he could imagine.
You may be going through some of that too, diving into this strange new world. After all, the last book took place in a setting you’re used to. A few unusual things happened, but by and large the events were “normal.” Things will be far less normal from here on out! Additionally, there is a lot of information to take in when reading this installment. It has the densest content of any novella in the series, so just take your time with it and enjoy the process. We’re not going anywhere.
