1. ⏪ RECAP previous chapter - As you recall, Frankie & Finn broke the Robinsons out of the laundry room with the constable in hot pursuit.
2. 🤔 DEDUCE
- What sorts of goods do you think are in the containers that travel through ports?
3. 🔍 RESEARCH
- 🍎 Have students look up the Einstein-Rosen Bridge and share what they learn about it
- What did it mean when you called someone (or something) keen in the 1950s?
- Use a directions app along with this map to plot out how to get from breakfast to the Welcome Center. How far away is it, and how long should it take to get there?
4. 🧮 LIFE-SKILLS MATH
- Using the list of items ordered at Emeril's Petite Brasserie (as included in this lesson's Printables), calculate exactly how much the bill would come to before tax or tip (i.e. the subtotal)
5. 🎭 RE-ENACT
- Hide in the Waste Substances sector (See Suggested Supplies list). Have all of the students practice being totally still and silent as you (and any “deputies” you might have) slowly walk around the room shining lights in search of the kids
- 🦄 Press the "red button". This should be a hoot as the students tumble and roll, using their imaginations to go across the ceiling and down the other side. Make sure to do this in a room that can accommodate this activity without injury or damage
- 🏃🏻♀️ Run away from the patrolman at the dock
- Obtain breakfast treats (according to whatever fits with your family’s dietary plan)
- If you have the time and inclination, create a small Welcome Center of your own for the kids to tramp to
6. 💬 DISCUSS
- What happens when something ricochets? Why is it so dangerous?
- What sort of terrain and creatures do you think they might encounter?
- Why do you think there were hardly any workers around at the docks (As they’ll learn later, they’ve arrived in the future, and things are automated, requiring fewer human workers)
- What do you think the chapter title refers to?
- What is culture shock, and why might it be the theme of this lesson?

Let them join the others in hiding behind boxes and then rolling around (like in the cargo container)
